Its been a very busy couple of months, and we have finally caught our breath to let you all know what’s happening at Tallawarra Homestead. Firstly, a true and very dedicated member of Tallawarra Homestead, my mother Kathleen passed away recently. My mother was a valuable part of the setup at the homestead, showing guests around the property, assisting Janine make the scones for afternoon tea and helping with the cleaning. We miss her very much and have dedicated a very special addition to the property, which we will share with you in the very near future.
We have completed our submission for the 2018 RACV Tourism Awards, which will be announced at a gala event in late November. We were so proud of achieving a Bronze Award last year, and fingers crossed will share in the awards again this year.
Winter has come and gone, in a flash! And Spring in now upon us. The trees are slowly starting to bud, and the days getting longer, and a little warmer!!!! Our Spring Breakfast menu is now available and a sample menu will be published next week.
We have made improvements to all the guest rooms, which we are sure, will impress those who have stayed with us in the past, so now is a great time to make that return visit to Tallawarra Homestead, Janine and I look forward to catching up.
